Do You Want Weight Loss or Fat Loss?
We’ve all seen the ads that tell us that we can lose weight by using this gizmo or taking that pill. While I could tell you they are all bogus and none of them work, the truth really is that many of them actually CAN help you lose weight. The problem is that it may not be the weight you really want to lose.
What I mean is that weight comes in two very general forms: lean muscle and fat. We want to keep as much muscle as we can, while trimming away the fat that can cause so many health problems. And to do this, you can’t just jump on some fad diet or workout with some gizmo sold on tv.
The best way to start to lose fat, and not just any kind of weight, is by getting your diet in order. Limit, or remove, all refined carbs and take in more carbs from vegetables and fruit. Make sure you protein sources are as lean and nutritious as possible. Check out the paleo diet (wrongly named, in my opinion, as it is a healthy eating plan, not a diet).
Once you’ve got your diet down right, you’ll see some amazing results. You’ll start losing fat. You will lose some muscle as well, though. You need to protect yourself from muscle loss by getting out and getting some exercise. A simple suggestion is 3 days of cardio and 3 days of strength training.
Losing weight is the wrong idea. We want to lose fat, and the only way to do that is to eat right and get exercise. No pill, drink or gizmo will ever work as well as doing it right with diet and proven exercises.
Make Maple Syrup Part of Spring
For many of us in the United States, the winter months are a battle and a true test of patience. From November until March we spend much of our time indoors on our couches, hibernating with the television remote control, and watching the temperatures drop. In the mornings, we throw on a coat and make the mad dash outside, fumbling with the keys to start the car (and the heat) only to realize the car is covered in ice and must be scraped down first, even though we are already running late to work. Our fun weekend plans or flights (to very warm places) are often cancelled by winter storms, and we spend more time navigating the snow blower than we do visiting with friends. As you can see, winter can be a tough spell, so that is why spring is one of the most loved and anticipated seasons of the year.
In the spring, everything reawakens. The snow finally melts, flowers bloom, and the grass becomes green again. We dust off our sneakers and head outside to enjoy the fresh air. Daylight returns, and we always seem amazed by how much longer and more enjoyable our days become. Spring is also the best time for food. After months of apples and oranges and bad avocados, fruit and vegetables come back in full force.
To fully enjoy the spring flavors, make maple syrup a part of spring this year. This natural sugar has a tremendous flavor and is a perfect addition to spring fruits and melons. Stock up on plenty of maple syrup as soon as the weather turns warm, and you’ll be amazed at all of its uses. Drizzle real maple syrup over fresh fruit and vanilla ice cream, or use it for a meat glaze for your first cook out. Maple syrup is the perfect partner for spring.
Where to Buy Your Daily Food Supplements
If you are planning on taking supplements daily and you want your family to take them daily as well, it is sometimes necessary to buy them wholesale so that you can save yourself tons of money in the process. You just have to choose where to buy supplements from. Be wary of suppliers who are just out to take advantage of you, and do not necessarily give you the right kind or the best supplement for your health. One important factor to consider when buying supplements is the brand of which you are buying. Make sure that you check into the brand you are choosing first. Try reading on the internet or asking your friends about it. Knowing what to buy is the key to getting your moneys worth. Next, always choose the right the company that shows a high rating when it comes to dealing with their customers. Look for manufacturers that are trusted, and that will handle your transactions safely and securely.
Why I Started Using OptiCleanse by Xymogen
OptiCleanse by Xymogen was introduced to me by my doctor when a blood test revealed that I was carrying a heavy toxic load. What this means is that my body was unable to effectively cleanse all of the toxics out on its own. It was overloaded. This may have been a result of my diet or some environmental exposure that I was not aware of. But, I was feeling sluggish and fatigued and this explained why.
When I tried OptiCleanse Plus, I was pleasantly surprised at its flavor. I opted for the Chocolate flavor and mixed it up with purified water as well as some berries to make it more substantial. Since it has around 200 calories for a single serving, I wanted to use it as a meal replacement.
Since I started this regime, I have not looked back. I have an OptiCleanse shake daily and have been feeling great. A more recent blood test shows lowered toxic levels as well.
