My grandmother has the coolest type of blinds that I have ever seen in a house. They are apparently called top down bottom up shades, but I don’t know if that is their official name. I’m not even sure how they work, but to say the least they are the coolest looking blinds that I have ever seen anywhere. IT is sometimes difficult to appreciate the much smaller, and less important aspects and amenities that surround us on a daily basis. I think that this can be one of the biggest lessons that I learned as a kid, and I’m still applying it today, to things as simple as top down bottom up shades!
